How It All Began
From a Passion to a Purpose
It started the way most meaningful things do — with family. Brian and Jennifer were sorting through boxes of old photographs, negatives, VHS tapes, and 8mm cassettes, from Jennifer's mother, that had been sitting in storage for decades. The images were fading, the tapes were deteriorating, and the memories captured on them were at risk of being lost forever.
That experience sparked something. Brian, who had spent years developing an eye for detail and a love of photography, began researching the best ways to digitize and preserve these irreplaceable moments. What started as a personal project quickly became a calling.
Together, Brian and Jennifer built B & J Cupak Photography Scanning Service right here in Tallmadge, Ohio — a family-run business dedicated to one thing: making sure your family's story is preserved for the generations to come.
